MANILA, Philippines (September 12, 2018) – PAGASA updated Typhoon Mangkhut as a ‘super typhoon’ level.
Typhoon Mangkhut will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 2pm today stated by PAGASA on the press briefing a while ago.
PAGASA categorized Mangkhut as a super typhoon because of its maximum intensity of 220-270km/h. later on today, PAGASA will raise a warning signal most especially in eastern Luzon.
Typhoon Mangkhut will be felt mostly in Luzon including NCR until Friday, September 14, 2018.
PAGASA also stated that the most affected area is the residents in northern part of Luzon; Cagayan and Batanes area on Saturday morning with an intensity of 205-225 km/h.
