MANILA, Philippines November 24, 2018 – The Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 148 both trashed the appeal of Senator Antonio Trillianes and the DOJ in connection with the Coup d’etat case of the said Senator.
There is still no arrest warrant to Antonio Trillianes however, the Proclamation 572 or the nullification of Amnesty of the Senator is still active and was also favored by the Makati RTC Branch 148. In addition to that, Tillianes made a request to have a further research in the proclamation that was issued by the President.
Meanwhile, the Department of Justice decided to have a conversation to Solicitor General of the Philippines, Jose Calida in connection with the decision.
