Report Confirms Mocha Did Resign And Not Fired - Other Media Reported About A Source



MANILA Philippines October 9, 2018 – After a series of issues between the Liberals and the administration of President Duterte, a hearsay went viral on the social media that Mocha Uson (Margaux Justiniano Uson) was actually fired by the President before she resigned. 

Meanwhile, an article from a well-known mainstream media “Inquirer” stated that a source informed them about the President that he actually fired Mocha. The source on the article clearly stated that President Duterte told SAP Bong Go to tell Mocha that she was fired. Rappler also reported that nine (9) officials from PCOO wants to remove Mocha from the office. Additional statements of the said source were on the picture below:  






On the other hand, a video from Mocha’s page was revealed. The video contains an interview that was conducted by Mocha which clarifies that she actually resigned and not fired. Watch the video blow:




According to Journalism Ethics and Standards, a journalist should possess a quality which manages his integrity and dignity. All media platform should focus on public trust, accountability regarding their report, truthfulness to deliver a factual report, and fairness.

The question is, why these Media does report an issue without having a solid evidence most especially on Mocha’s condition. Why they should trust a source which is unknown to the public? It is better not to report an unreliable information to an unreliable sources.
