Philippines – Malalagay sa 48-oras na “hard lockdown” ang distrito ng Sampaloc
Manila matapos maobserbahan ang pagtaas ng kaso ng coronavirus disease
(COVID-19) sa nasabing lugar, ayon sa sinabi ni Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko’
Moreno Domagoso nitong Martes.
Pumirma si
Mayor Isko ng executive order na isasara ang distrito ng Sampaloc mula 8 p.m ng
Huwebes (April 23) hanggang 8 p.m ng Sabado (April 25).
Sabi pa ni
Mayor Isko, striktong pinatitigil ng bahay ang mga residente at bawa itong
lumabas ng mga kani-kanilang bahay sa panahon ng hard lockdown.
Dagdag pa
aniya, sasailalim ang distrito sa rapid risk assessment, under surveillance, at
testing operations.
“Health
authorities will be conducting disease surveillance, testing and rapid risk
assessment as the city’s response measures to the imminent danger posed by
Covid-19,” pahayag ng alkalde sa kanyang
Facebook live nitong Martes.
Samantala,
ang maari lamang na lumabas sa hard lockdown ay mga healthcare workers,
kapulisan at mga military, mga gobernment employees, nagtratrabaho sa mga
pharmacies, drug stores at death care services, barangay officials, at mga
accredited media practitioners.
“All other
commercial, industrial, retail, institutional and other activities not
mentioned in above exemptions in the said district shall be suspended within
the specified period of the shutdown,” ayon pa sa executive order.
