Philippines – Kumakailan lamang, nakatanggap ang DOTr ng mga negatibong komento
mla sa social media hingil sa FREE RIDE SERVICE sa mga HEALTH WORKERS.
Nagsimula ang umanong mga komento dahil sa isang mapanligaw na banner mula sa
Philippine Star. Nang dahil sa ginawang ito ng nasabing media, ang DOTr ay
nagmukhang ipinagbawal ang kaparehas na programa na pinagtibay ng Office of the
Vice President (OVP).
Bukod pa dito, pinapalabas nito na dapat umanong umapela
si Robredo sa DOTr na payagan siyang ipagpatuloy ang kanyang proyekto.
Sa pahayag
ng DOTr sa page nito sa Facebook, nilinaw ng departamento na hindi sila
nakialam o pumigil sa proyekto ni Robredo.

Dagdag pa ng
DOTr, hindi nila inihinto ang FREE RIDE PROGRAM ni Robredo. Sa isang liham na
para kay Secretary Arthur Tugade noong April 3, pinaalam ni Robredo sa DOTr na
ang kanilang programang FREE SHUTTLE na mayroong rota ng walong bus ay opisyal
na magtatapos ng April 14 na pinagkasunduan naman ng mga pribadong kasosyo.
“In the same letter, VP Robredo
requested the assistance of DOTr, and conveyed their desire to turnover their
transport project, in order to give focus on their PPE donation initiative and
temporary resting facilities for frontliners instead.” Nakasaad sa post ng DOTr.
