Philippines September 18, 2018 - President Rodrigo Duterte is planning to build a new office that will investigate on the purchases of all government agencies. It will be called “Office Of Cheques and Balances” which intended to stop corruption. The agency will be made by five officials knowledgeable in accounting and auditing.
The new office will be informed of the amount that will be paid by the agencies, and to avoid ghost deliveries.
President Duterte together with the few members of the cabinet also denounced yesterday about the system called ‘Lowest Bid’; according to him, it is a requirement from Commission on Audit that causes corruption on every government agencies.
